Before you start
- Your TikTok login needs Admin or Operator access to the ad accounts in TikTok Business Center (view-only access cannot create or change ads)
- The ad account must have completed identity / qualification review
- Some TikTok regions (e.g. US) have extra compliance checks
Steps
- Dashboard → "Connect account" → TikTok Ads
- TikTok login pops up — use your Business Center login
- Tick the ad accounts to authorize (multi-select); confirm the scopes
- On return, DEXUN AdWhiz starts reading campaigns, ad groups and ads
TikTok keeps only the ad accounts ticked in your most recent authorization: accounts left unticked lose access. Every time you re-authorize, tick all the ad accounts you want AdWhiz to manage.
When an account shows "access revoked": re-authorize
An account card showing "access revoked" means TikTok no longer lets the login you authorized with read or manage that ad account — usually because it was left unticked in a later authorization, or your Business Center permissions changed. To fix it:
- In TikTok Business Center, check that your login still has Admin or Operator access to the ad account; if permissions changed, ask a Business Center admin to assign them again
- In the AdWhiz dashboard, click "Re-authorize TikTok" on that account card
- Sign in with a TikTok login that has access and tick all the ad accounts you want AdWhiz to manage
- Back in the dashboard, the notice clears and the account shows normally
Restore accounts you disconnected
Accounts you disconnected in AdWhiz are not brought back by re-authorizing — so one authorization cannot restore the many accounts you removed. To bring one back, go to Settings → Connected accounts → Disconnected accounts, tick it and click "Restore".
